Why I started this blog

I started this blog after reading about a group of bloggers that started the Tuesdays with Dorie blog.  I found that the group was currently closed.  The whole idea of cooking and sharing connections with others really appealed to me.  I want to join the blogging group that uses Dorie's other cookbook "Around My French Table".  I'm new to this kind of comraderie and the whole blogging thing.  Well here goes...
